Terrace House Single Storey Infill Extension Design in Greenwich

PLANNING AUTHORITY APPROVED: ROYAL BOROUGH OF GREENWICH Design of a single storey infill/wrap around extension to a Victorian end of terrace house in Greenwich. Design included various roof design options such as lean-to glass, flat roof with glass skylights, pitched roof with Velux roof lights. All options involved taking out the side return wall to existing rear annex, infilling the side alley with a single storey extension and a further single storey extension on the rear with wrap around bifold doors. This provided an amazing light and airy modern open plan Kitchen/Diner. Also Ground Floor WC and foldaway Utility. Challenge was to get the maximum allowed under Permitted Development as Greenwich Council can be quite restrictive on this type of design.
