The original house at 7 Selbourne Road, Croydon had a dated conservatory attached to the rear of the property. Firstly, we persuaded our client to take it down and replace it with a single-story extension. This then allowed us to open up most of the ground floor into a more social, flexible space incorporating all the latest technology in lighting design and kitchen appliances. Secondly, we converted the garage into a habitable space, and finally, we reconfigured the first floor into a home office and more usable bedroom space.

What an absolute pleasure it was to work with these clients. Right from the outset when our client purchased the property he had the exact vision of what he wanted to achieve with his new home. We then worked this up to a final design solution that the planners would be happy with. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we got planning approval - it was an all-time record!

Also, another amazing aspect about this project at Selbourne Road Croydon was that our client brought in his own builder to do the work, we were so impressed with the quality of work and after completing our own due diligence we now recommend this particular builder on many of our projects. They have now completed over 10 projects for our clients to date.
